Twenty-four Illinois cooperatives are members of the Touchstone Energy branding alliance. Touchstone Energy is a network of nearly 700 cooperatives in 46 states that use their combined strength and resources to provide not only electricity but also a wide variety of programs and services to nearly 20 million cooperative member/owners every day.
Touchstone Energy cooperatives are accountable to their member/owners and must operate under strict standards based on four core values of integrity, accountability, innovation and commitment to community. These values distinguish cooperatives from other electric providers.
The programs highlighted at the right provide Touchstone Energy cooperative member/owners with energy solutions every day. They range from electric and energy efficiency educational programs for children, adults and businesses to a member loyalty card that saves member/owners money on 14,000 local and national discounted products and services from vendors across the country.
The newest and most exciting offering from Touchstone Energy cooperatives is “Together We Save.” By visiting www.togetherwesave.com consumers can see for themselves how just making small changes in the way they use electricity can add up to big savings. The site includes nine energy saving interactive applications, a virtual home tour and short videos, all of which provide energy saving techniques, advice and more.
